In reference to Mr. Hurter's communication of the 31 December addressed to the Colonial Secretary enclosing lists of the Naval Gun Police and also stating that the parties named in those lists were willing to abandon all claim to pension agreements under the conditions therein stated, I have the honor to inform you that I received notice by last Mail of the disallowance by Commodore Oliver Jones.
